Wellness Care
We believe healthcare should be personalized because no two people are exactly alike. During your first visit, Dr. Jenny will perform a comprehensive consultation and examination to understand your health concerns, goals, and lifestyle. From there, she will create a customized care plan designed specifically for your needs.
As a cash-based practice, we focus on delivering high-quality, individualized care without the limitations of insurance requirements, high deductibles, or unexpected copays. Our goal is to provide affordable, patient-centered care that supports you at every stage of your health journey.
Chiropractic care or acupuncture first?
Some people ask whether they should do chiropractic care or acupuncture first when receiving both treatments. My answer is always the same: it depends on what feels best for your body.
For some patients, acupuncture creates a deep sense of relaxation, and having a chiropractic adjustment afterward can interrupt that calm feeling. In those cases, I usually recommend chiropractic care first, followed by acupuncture.
For others, acupuncture helps relax the muscles and loosen tension before an adjustment, which can make chiropractic care feel easier and more effective. In that case, starting with acupuncture may be the better fit.
There is no single right answer — every body responds differently. Together, we will find the approach that works best for you, your comfort, and your unique health story.
Prenatal Chiropractic Care
Many women go through pregnancy believing that discomfort is simply part of the journey. Pelvic pain, round ligament pain, and other aches are often accepted as something they just have to live with. After becoming certified in the Webster Technique, I became passionate about helping expectant mothers understand that pregnancy doesn't always have to look that way.
The Webster Technique is a gentle chiropractic approach designed to support the body during pregnancy and prepare it for delivery. By focusing on the pelvis, surrounding ligaments, and muscles, we work to improve balance and function throughout the body. This can help reduce discomfort during pregnancy while also supporting optimal movement and positioning as the body prepares for labor.
Research and clinical experience continue to explore the benefits of chiropractic care during pregnancy. Some studies have suggested that routine chiropractic care may be associated with shorter labor times for some women. Because labor can be physically demanding, supporting the body's function and comfort throughout pregnancy may help mothers feel better prepared for the birth experience.
Pregnancy chiropractic care can be a valuable part of your prenatal wellness plan. If you'd like to learn more about how care may benefit you, give our office a call. We'd be happy to schedule a consultation and discuss whether this approach is a good fit for your pregnancy journey.
Tired of living in pain?
Most people think of chiropractic care only when they have back pain, but it can help address a wide variety of musculoskeletal conditions throughout the body. Chiropractic care focuses on improving joint function, movement patterns, and nervous system communication by addressing areas of restriction and dysfunction.
When joints aren't moving properly, the body often compensates in ways that can lead to pain, tension, reduced mobility, and other symptoms. By restoring proper movement and function, chiropractic care can help patients move better, feel better, and get back to doing the things they love.
Some common reasons patients seek chiropractic care include:
• Migraines and headaches
• Neck and back pain
• Numbness or tingling in the arms or legs
• Sciatica
• Sacroiliac (SI) joint dysfunction
• Pregnancy-related pelvic and low back pain
• Shoulder pain and restricted mobility
• Knee pain
• Ankle and foot pain
• Muscle imbalances following injury
• Poor posture and "tech neck"
• Sports and exercise-related injuries
• General stiffness and decreased mobility
Every patient is different, which is why a thorough examination is important to determine whether chiropractic care may be an appropriate option for your specific concerns.
If you've been dealing with pain, discomfort, or movement limitations, give our office a call to learn how chiropractic care may help you get back to feeling your best.
